September 29
Astrodigenous Webinar and Portal  7pm ET – 8pm ETZoom (Details below)
Astrodigenous is a new portal and resource guide for educators teaching Indigenous astronomy.

In September 29th’s webinar, we will give you the origin of this project, explain the reasoning behind our how-to guide, and show you how to access the database of resources. There will be plenty of time for discussion to hear your perspective as educators and how you can use this resource. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.

This project is brought to you by Discover the Universe, a partner of the Dunlap Institute. For more information, visit DiscoverTheUniverse.ca

November 11
Astronomy on Tap
8pm ET – 11pm ET
(Doors open at 7pm ET)

The Great Hall
1087 Queen Street West, Toronto (near Ossington)
After a three-year hiatus, we are so excited to announce that Astronomy on Tap is back!

On Friday, November 11, quench your thirst for astronomy at The Great Hall in Toronto! It’ll be another fun evening of pints, astronomy news, mind-expanding talks, games, prizes, and Dunlap merchandise for sale!

Following all the talks, there will be plenty of time for you to have all your cosmic questions answered by astronomers from the Dunlap Institute and the University of Toronto. We’ll announce talk topics and more details closer to the date.

We will have ASL services at this event for individuals with hearing impairments.

PLEASE NOTE: We may handle entry a little differently than in the past – we may ask that folks register in advance and/or distribute (free) tickets ahead of the event – we’ll let you know in plenty of time. Please keep an eye out on our social media for those details.
