Club Activities
Monthly general meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month except for July and August. These meetings are open to the public! We also organize an impressive number of other activities such as educational seminars, public outreach events, as well as group observing sessions throughout the year.

McCallion Planetarium - Thursday March 1
Our club has received a LX200 8" from an anonymous donor!
We've all heard the "baby in a basket" story. Well, one of our members (Bert) visited the observatory a few weeks ago and found a LX200 telescope in the driveway. It had a note saying that it was being donated.
The hand controller needs some work but the optics are in pristine condition.

Our March 1 monthly meeting is going to be special! We'll be doing "indoor stargazing" at the McCallion Planetarium.
This is going to be a popular event so we have 2 shows booked: - 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
We will devote the first 1/2 hour of each show to "club business" and then we sit back and enjoy the show.
Seating is strictly limited to 35 per show.
Cost is $ 15.00 pp
